Handmade. One by one.
Each chair, table, and rug in our collection is conceived as a living companion—never a soulless object, but a catalyst for memory and emotion. A rug should feel like a landscape you inhabit; a chair should cradle your daydreams. At Mario & Casa, we know that the moment an object is imagined shapes the way you will one day connect with it.

That’s why every interior piece and every rug is meticulously handcrafted in our Indian ateliers, where soulful workmanship still thrives. From the first pencil stroke on the sketchpad to the final polish of brass or trimming of fringe, our master weavers, woodcarvers, and metalworkers guide each phase of production, nurturing a dialogue between designer and artisan that infuses every knot, curve, and surface with intention.

By honoring this journey, we ensure that when your rug warms the floor or your chair welcomes your frame, it carries with it the echoes of human touch, heritage techniques, and ethical sourcing. More than furniture or décor, these are living narratives—objects that grow richer with every step you take and every story you live within their embrace.
For our upholstery, we use our own fabrics, individually sculpted padding and elaborate traditional methods including internal springs and hand-stitched covers.
Our fabrics are created in harmony with their natural properties. Our rare silks are handwoven on wooden looms, our natural cottons are hand-dyed, and our fabric mixes are specially created to accentuate natural material properties.
Our rugs are handwoven or handtufted with 100% New Zealand Wool or pure Cotton. Intricate material inlays and masterful carving create patterns, luster and structure.
Our brass and silver objects are hand-cast or hand-hammered, welded and polished for structure and luster.
Our cabinetmakers take care of each single Mario & Casa piece of furniture. Wooden objects are sewn, joined, polished and finished by hand.
